Our Brooklyn Space

Coming November 2025

A Warm, Creative Space in the Heart of Brownsville.

Our event space is currently under renovation and will be opening in November 2025—right here in Brooklyn. Born from the vision of Chef Shibumi and her wife, our space was created with New Yorkers in mind. In a city where most people live in apartments, we wanted to offer an affordable, inviting venue complete with a full kitchen and bar—a place where people can truly come together. Whether you love to cook or simply gather around great food, our space is designed for family holidays, elegant dinner parties, cocktail soirées, social events, and community gatherings. And it’s not just for socializing—we’ve built in ample lighting and sound-insulated walls, making it ideal for film shoots, photography sessions, and content creation.

Hudson Valley Supperclub

Chef Shibumi doesn’t have a restaurant in the Hudson Valley—yet—but she’s still hosting her signature farm to table pop-ups across the region. Join the email list to stay in the loop!

Shibumi Jones is a captivating locavore chef and aspiring restaurateur who embodies culinary passion. A fierce advocate for sustainable agriculture, regenerative farming, and ethical animal treatment, she proudly identifies as a hardcore omnivore. Her cuisine excites the palate with new American fusion, seamlessly blending cultural threads rooted in Native American traditions. With a funky, quirky style, Shibumi draws inspiration from global cuisines, pop culture, and comfort food.

With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington, Shibumi has spent over twenty years honing her craft in the fine dining scene. Trained by influential chefs, she rose to the position of sous chef in Manhattan’s Michelin-starred restaurants.

In 2016, Shibumi took a bold step to carve her own path. She launched a popular Hudson Valley supper club and has dazzled audiences on the Food Network. Now, as the executive chef of the Shibumi Jones event space, she’s set to introduce a culinary enrichment program for local youth, sharing her passion and expertise with the next generation. After nine years in Brownsville, she is excited to embrace her culinary vision within the community she loves.
