With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington, Shibumi has spent over twenty years honing her craft in the fine dining scene. Trained by influential chefs, she rose to the position of sous chef in Manhattan’s Michelin-starred restaurants.

In 2016, Shibumi took a bold step to carve her own path. She launched a popular Hudson Valley supper club and has dazzled audiences on the Food Network. Now, as the executive chef of the Shibumi Jones event space, she’s set to introduce a culinary enrichment program for local youth, sharing her passion and expertise with the next generation.
